Responsibilities:

  • Proactively convert hot leads via the telephone from Constant Contact's website and business partners, marketing campaigns and email requests for new customer acquisition.
  • Effectively qualify clients to assess their needs.
  • Attain and exceed outbound call objectives.
  • Attain and exceed sales goals.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in sales management database for processing sales, and keeping comprehensive and accurate client information.
  • Timely and accurate activity reporting.
  • Follow company policies and sales procedures effectively.
  • Attend sales and product training and develop proficiency in Constant Contact application, as well as a basic understanding of the email marketing solutions market and competitors.

Requirements:

  • Strong initiative with a strong desire to succeed and to embark in a sales career.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales and goal oriented.
  • Must be self motivated and enjoy interacting with customers via the phone.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to be flexible and self sufficient.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and competitive.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • PC literacy is necessary including MS Office and Outlook.
  • Experience with Goldmine/or other contact management system a strong plus.
  • 1 -3+ years successful telesales experience including cold calling, qualifying and follow-up, ideally selling software solutions in an inside sales or telesales environment is preferred.
  • Will consider new college graduates with the desire to succeed.
